Perfect Grass Treatment Strategies For The Summer Period

Summer is one of the most awaited seasons throughout the year. This is the time when you can spend endless time at the beach, enjoying the sun and the water. It’s also the time when you can do a lot of the activities you’ve wanted to do, without the problems of rainfall.

However, not everybody is happy when summer comes. This is because summer also means limited water and therefore most plant owners would have a huge problem on how to maintain their plants.

It could be of a little hard work to do lawn care during dry season. The absence of rain makes the grass dry out, thus, you need to do the watering. This would be the main concern when season of no rain comes. Lawns maybe left for certain times without water, but abandoning them for so long would make the fertile grass fade in color.

It is ideal that you water your lawn at least once a week, preferably in the morning, and making the water really steep into the ground. A great tip for lawn care is that you drench the lawn once a week, rather than giving it a sprinkle everyday.

Cutting of the grass is done differently during summer. A little portion of the grass is cut, setting the mower in its tallest measurement. This is a necessary lawn care method in order to prevent weeds from having a way into the ground and to allow grass extend its roots deeper into the soil. Only one thirds of the lawn should be cut. This would need additional trimming; even so, it makes lawn care easier.

Keep these two simple tips of lawn care during summer and surely, you will have less problems than what you usually had the previous years. Instead of fretting, you can now have fun under the sun without worrying about lawn care.
