The truth is that sometimes the two look nearly identical. This means that you could end up undoing a bunch of your hard work without realizing it. Learn how to tell the flowers apart from the weeds. This will save your garden later on.

Don’t use pesticides; use aphids instead. Pesticides are not environmentally friendly and are hard on your plants. If you are growing plants that you plan on eating pesticides are especially bad. If you have a problem with pests who eat plants, consider letting some ladybugs loose in your garden. Using ladybugs is a good idea because they don’t eat plants, they eat the pests who eat your plants. Gardeners can benefit greatly from ladybugs and other pest consumers.
