Bamboo Borders – Keep That Grass On Its Own Side
With a backyard flowering garden you can add a dimension of relaxation to your outdoor space. It’s even better if you can separate each area and keep flowers and grass apart. One way to do that is to install borders to specific areas. Bamboo borders are among the most used borders in gardens today.
Keeping the weeds under control is hard enough without having to deal with grass creeping over into the flower beds. Probably the best way to prevent this from occurring is by installing a garden border.
For best results, the border should be sunk into the ground. If the border just sits on top of the earth it won’t be long before roots spread under the barrier and grass begins to grow on the other side as well.
Not only do borders keep grass and flowers separated, it makes grass cutting and trimming a lot easier. With a border you won’t have to worry about the lawnmower damaging flowers or the trimmer destroying plants. Just run the mower or trimmer right along the edge of the garden bordering material.
A bamboo border can be used to separate different flower beds or types of foliage, but they can also be used to accent various elements in your outdoor paradise.
Perhaps you have decided to put in a path that will wander throughout your space. It will be even more inviting if each area is somewhat sectioned off and clearly defined. You can use a bamboo border for the accent to help you achieve the look and feel you want.
Bamboo borders are made with short bamboo poles. They come pre assembled in staggered heights and various lengths making them easy to arrange in a pleasing design.
Bamboo has always had a place inside the home. It is often used decoratively on walls or as window coverings. Bamboo border edging is also suitable for use inside. You can utilize it to divide areas in a room or to accent an arrangement of potted plants.
Whether for inside or outdoors, using bamboo borders is an environmentally friendly choice. Bamboo is a type of fast growing grass and so is considered a sustainable product.
For a truly unique fencing solution, consider bamboo fencing. Bamboo fence panels make installation easy. Panels come in a variety of sizes and patterns. Choose from rolled bamboo fencing or split bamboo fencing.
